Soitec is a global leader in advanced semiconductor materials and engineered substrates, driving innovation in the microelectronics industry. Collaborating with major industrial players, top research labs, and prestigious universities, Soitec invests 10% of annual sales in R&D and holds over 4,100 patents.

Since late 2023, SmartSiC™ substrates have been deployed from our state-of-the-art high-volume manufacturing line in Bernin, France, with a total design capacity of up to 500,000 wafers annually. To support the deployment of our SmartSiC™ and to expand our line of products using Wide Bandgap (WBG) materials, we’re looking for a talented Technical Marketing Manager to join our Business Unit. This role is central to shaping Soitec’s market vision and ensuring our products address tomorrow’s customer needs.

En quoi consiste le job?

As Technical Marketing Manager, you will drive market insight, align product development with future needs, and reinforce Soitec’s leadership in power electronics. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Market Analysis: Identify mid- and long term trends, customer pain points, and emerging technologies to guide the strategy and propose profitable product ideas.

  • Roadmap Development: Define technical requirements for future products and collaborate with Product Management on feasibility and specifications.

  • Business Strategy: Support Business Development by carrying out competitive analysis, market sizing (TAM/SAM), and business planning alongside the strategic planning.

  • Go-to-Market Support: Assist Product Management in developing, and implementing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Technical Training: Sales & FAEs internal teams, partners, and customers with a deep understanding of Soitec’s products, value proposition, and market positioning (second level support).

  • Networking and Brand Promotion: Build, animate and grow an international value-chain-wide network, representing Soitec at global events with impactful technical presentations and marketing content.

Ce poste répondra à votre projet si vous êtes…

Education: PhD or Master’s degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or physics with deep knowledge of devices, assembly technologies, and power system topologies.

Experience: 8+ years in the power electronics industry with significant expertise in marketing strategy and customer engagement.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive and industrial ecosystems, market segmentation, and competitive landscapes.

Skills: Strategic and analytical mindset, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and excellent collaboration skills.

Global: Occasional travel related to customers and partners visits, fairs, conferences in Asia, North America and Europe.

Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
